Had to take one of the pups out around 3am and heard the thunder. Dismissed it as someone else. Then, soon on the road heading south could see the strikes way out in the mountains. Where exactly was it? East Bay or tip of Central Valley?

East Bay! I’m close to the bay itself… very close to one of the bridges 🤣 The last time I remember seeing lightning was a few years ago… and then there’s the time the entire Bay Area caught on fire essentially during Covid, that was some scary 💩… but I love lightning, I wish I had realized 😭

Ahhh....I looked at the weather map and saw it was in one of the locations. It was crazy and quite a sight! The East Bay seems to get hit more than most of the other parts of the bay. Sorry you missed it!
