People from the UK should come visit the US and stop in Pennsylvania where they are fracking everything and then visit New York where fracking was banned. Talk to the people, drink the water....just be careful about drinking the water in Pennsylvania.
Fracking has no chance in the UK, it's just a convenient distraction from the steady march of renewables & flexibility progress by right-wing nutters who, despite extensive media promotion, have a grand total of 4 MPs. Even if it was economically feasible here, Nimbyism would kill it stone dead.
Sniff the water maybe... and even then I'm not sure it would be wise ...burn the water?
