If this is the hate you’ll keep perpetuating then so be it. It’s not about Newsom or anybody else except you. You talk about acceptance but you don’t accept some one else if they don’t follow your line of thinking. It’s short sighted and foolish. So keep it up. Your actions will get you nowhere.
I’m sorry you received hate, but it’s important to realize there are many trans people/advocates that don’t need to hate to point out that Newsom is very bad on this issue, and in a particularly insidious way. I agree that we should treat people better however
I was in no way advocating for Newsom. All I said was he’s starting the ball rolling. I also said he was not presidential material. Newsom has too much baggage and he’s done too much wrong. They will not advance anything if they attack for no reason. Attacking is no way to gain support.
