I admit I was not aware of Mark until today, but the fact that he felt the need to deactivate in response to such poor behaviour is very disheartening to me. We're supposed to be a lot better than this, Bluesky.

RetroBlast really helped me realize how extensive and knit-together the gaming discussion community is here on Bluesky, it’s something I don’t think I’ve seen anything like it on any other social media site Content creators, podcasters, and just people who like talking about games, it’s awesome

It also means we have to have eachothers’ backs when stuff like this happens for the community to stay thriving, but that part I’m not worried about given how much support people like Mark and others in his situation have gotten in times like this
