sometimes I look back at middle school and realize that the reason there was so many fights at my school was because it was ran like a prison. No outdoor time unless it was PE, had to walk to everywhere in an orderly line, could not wear certain color combinations, etc.

The only socializing time anyone has was at lunch, which if one person acted out the entire week became quiet lunch and we could not talk. Our principal would also stand on the stage at the cafeteria and talk the entire time about discipline and humility.
