OK. So genuine question here from an ex-teacher in the UK. Does this mean that schools can now actively discriminate on the basis of skin colour as to which kids they accept?

In theory no, because the Civil Rights Act of 1964 is still in effect, but in reality I think we'll probably find out soon.
