not a film BUT i really don't like atla. i just don't. its a fine show objectively but im just not a fan of the characters (besides the silly blind girl and the water lesbian) or the asthetics/overall story. it feels generic.

to me it’s a good story with really good themes and characters, and being able to rewatch it and understand more definitely boosted my opinion on it, but it is basic, it’s ‘the last of us’ of shows
