I can't think of a better way of cementing Reform votes. Their supporters already feel hard done by. Imagine how much worse if the game is overtly stacked against them.

By your logic you are suggesting democratic practice is something that is "stacked against them". So it should be. Never appease undemocratic entities. We've been far too soft in standing up for democracy and in doing so encouraged the rule of the mob.
Then change the rules in a fair way, eg PR. Don't bring in a rule that kneecaps just one specific party. No matter how much you may hate them, that's gerrymandering.
It's not gerrymandering to insist that parties are democratically run in democratic countries.
