Sure it will. It will show that reality must win in the end, and that voting for something doesn't change that reality. Of course whether the lesson actually sinks in is another matter.

Reality? Most Remainers rejected Corbyn's attempt to negotiate a compromise with May to remain part of the Customs Union. Now Starmer, who was even then conspiring against him, doesn't even offer that. That's the reality.
