People whose grandparents would not have been able to get into this country under current immigration laws are out here telling others to go back where they came from, LOL. People can be truly ridiculous.

It’s infuriating! Like, what are you DOING?
I have seen news interviews with people who have become legal citizens with a decade complaining about immigration...
I would love to be able to go back there my forebears came from
Divide and conquer…ugh
My own mother is one of those. She refuses to acknowledge the differences between trying to come here in 1960 & now. She "did it the right way" but refuses to see others can't do that now. No way would she have waited 20 years to come here, no way!
This includes Donald Trumps grandfather.
I keep telling my mom to stop telling her story unless she wants to see three generations deported.
As someone with Mayflower ancestors on one side of the family, this is one of the most maddening things to me. Just willful ignorance. Also has anyone noticed a shift recently with people like this trying to reframe their immigrant colonizer ancestors as conquerors? 😤
This is both true and I think we should go back to the way it was when they got in - for everyone.
We live in a timeline where Holocaust survivor's children/grandchildren/great-grandchildren are enacting their own Holocaust upon Palestinians...anything is possible?
It’s true. Hypocrites.
The worst are members of the Irish and Italian American communities...Do they know nothing about their own ancestors' histories to be such vocal proponents of laws that used to target them?
And on stolen land, too.
