WTF does Israel have on western democracies. No one I know supports Israel unquestionably. But our democratically elected officials choose to. We fought against fascism. Israel is a fascist state.

I suspect it's less to do with support of Israel as such and far more with fear of (by now very well weaponised) accusations of antisemitism. Israel's identity is one of a perennial victim, and it's been perfected to an art form.

Why was such a clause there to begin with? Was #Israel our 51st state? When was that clause added? For how many decades have they been getting taxpayer money under the table? F'em! Cut the cord.
