In weird reverse Puritanism, the Post clucks its tongue at those who clucked theirs at public adultery, as if newspapers have not made a living exposing people's foibles. An awkward Coldplay kiss cam went viral. Cue the morality police. www.washingtonpost.com/technology/2...

These people suck for what they did, but their families don’t deserve to be the main characters of every social media app in existence. Of course, writing an editorial in a major newspaper isn’t helping them.

Attempts to normalize adultery should not be a surprise given who owns newspapers these days and dictates the content. Lies are a dime a dozen. Broken promises shower down like rain. But we see them, and it will never be normalized for many of us.

At least now we will see some push back on the surveillance state. The oligarchs always assumed it was only our privacy being eroded.

WaPo's boss just had a massive celebration of adultery, so maybe he's a little sensitive to clucking

Also, if a company issues a press release about your actions, you definitely are not a “private citizen,” which makes this column even more irrelevant.

How many times does it have to walk like a duck before you say it's a duck?

Yes, 💯 hypocrisy. WaPo has no problem exposing the sins of the poor, but don’t you dare expose the sins of rich CEOs.

Interpersonal surveillance? Oh no! You don’t say?😱😱 Suspect we’ll see more reverse Puritanism from our press. It certainly is in the ruling class’s best interest.

What I've been seeing on social media is people policing their arrogance and stupidity more than their morals.
