These people suck for what they did, but their families don’t deserve to be the main characters of every social media app in existence. Of course, writing an editorial in a major newspaper isn’t helping them.
Attempts to normalize adultery should not be a surprise given who owns newspapers these days and dictates the content. Lies are a dime a dozen. Broken promises shower down like rain. But we see them, and it will never be normalized for many of us.
At least now we will see some push back on the surveillance state. The oligarchs always assumed it was only our privacy being eroded.
