It awaits the same fate of the superbattleships. Targeted and destroyed before they could play a major role in the conflicts they took part in

Take out the mother ship the drones fall
Just a concept. I will point out that the engine appears to be on the top, not slung under the wings. So that one criticism I'm seeing a lot in the comments seems invalid
This seems like something any bomber should be able to do. Encapsulate the drones, toss them out. I guess you'd like to control them via the bomber so it'll need some slightly fancy comms.
Man excels in ways of killing himself, always have, and sadly always will it seems.
You already have sea drones carrying flying drones and missiles. Why not a flying drone for the same thing. In conjunction with satellite the pilots are safe. Missiles, fighters, drones can be shot down, that is the cheapest.
Learning fast with the 🇺🇦🇷🇺 war.
Look, the big Chinese drone is having lots of Irano-Russian baby drones!
Never interrupt your enemy when he is making a mistake. - some chinese guy probably
meanwhile, we’re still learning to land on traditional carriers and not fall off the ship. We’re not ready for flying carriers just yet.
Big fat target + all the eggs in one basket ! 🤷♂️
If we didn't keep dumping planes into the ocean we could have nice things too.. but seriously that is a very dangerous weapon
That thing is going to have a radar signature like a motherfucker.
That's comforting
How will we ever design a weapon to take this beast down... 😂😂😂

Cool. Too bad America will fall back another 4 years while trump is leading.
That's a logical step in the drone/robot evolution. Other countries are doing the same.
📌
Ukraine resisting the attacking russia changed our all timeline.
Yes, but we got a drunk for SecDef So THERE, China
Ok, mais pour la furtivité ?
Looks like an alien mothership from 'Independence Day'. It could just be a military marketing stunt, but let us see.
Against Ukraine?
If it is used against Ukraine it will mean a WW.
Do you think? Who will declare it, Mr orange potus?
Wow
It’s essentially a bomber aircraft and could be picked off from long-range, without an escort. No military knowledge, just the way I see it - feel free to shoot me down 🥁
I do feel like this thing would effectively have to use a chunk of those drones as chaffe, yeah.
Potentially yes - some very advanced drones given guidance could target conventional missiles in close proximity to the mothership.
Yeah right drones can fly out sideways behind a jet engine exhaust flying at several hundred KpH. What a shitty rendering.
Hahaha
It is apparently needed to explain that the above rendering is only symbolic. In reality, there are quite a few different ways by which the payload can be delivered/ launched.
🤫
It is probably stationary as an helicopter 🙃😉 and it is the filming that is done in motion... Or like the old movies, with behind moving...
The jet exhaust is placed on top of the "mothership" (in the video) so I dont get your reference to flying out behind it. This is by the way in no means a revolutionary design and is actually already in testing by other countries...
Now I see the top jet. Meh, someone will tell them top jet is not great at some point. Still not sure how the wind shear would work... Unless it's the slowest jet in history.
Do you have any references?
What are referring to?
A reference to flying drone motherships with side doors from other countries.
🤣
There are different designs on this matter but all are quite similar. The US has one similar. You can easily look it up by investing your time to google and read. Btw, these type of design ideas movies rarely depict a final product or procedure mechanism. It is mainly for concept demonstration.
Dont worry the US is gonna have the F47! What a cool name for an outdated and overpriced taxpayer boondoggle. The US is streets behind despite all the spending.
No we’re not really, we have a difference in doctrine. Mind you the Chinese haven’t been involved in an armed conflict in half a century.
Have they accounted for that 200-n breeze they're flying into? And the big fat engines sucking in air? Mmmm-kay ...
The engine is on top, the drones coming off far lower.
Meanwhile the US is wrecking its government, universities and schools. Good luck.
Sale in chinese shop, on your street... 3 $...
Looks like they "borrowed" some footage from a Star Wars movie.
Yeah I’ll believe it when I see it
This is far worse than flying monkeys
The Hive Queen. 😬
Oh wow.... that will force big change to many national defense plans...
A bold move to launch the upper two rows of drones into your other payload and airframe.
like everyone else here, not an expert by any means wondering if it wouldn't be better to have the belly open instead of these absurd side doors and 'drop' them out at an angle to give them a little head start at correcting their trajectory
A murder of Crows.
Nice, juicy sitting target for F-35 missiles!
F-22 Raptor pilots are going to have a field day as well.
For some reason, it reminds me of a movie - not sure which one…Independence Day?
Another Chinese super weapon? Any idea what a slipstream will do? Not only that talk about a big fat radar target. Love it.

Where have I seen this before… oh right. (Except Arsenal Bird looks cool compared to that thing)
@daniel-suarez.com Drone swarms …. Now where have I heard that before?
👀👀
China is leaping forward in tech while the US deals with the orange authoritarian who thinks we can't use solar panels when it's cloudy.
Some folks here want to change that. youtu.be/cgNCHZBJxsM?...
Arsenal Bird Real
💩 the 🛌!!!
Can you loan that to Ukraine?
Test flight in June. This means an empty basic shell if it exists, which I seriously doubt Launch drones from a forward flight, even at low speed, would need to have gyros fitted. Then bombs guidance systems. I'll call bullshit on this.
