The trouble with Ukraine getting into NATO is that several hostile countries have a veto: Hungary, Slovakia and the USA (or Russia's friend, as it is now). I think the Coalition of the Willing needs to be formalised as the Anti-Authoritarian Pact.
Ukraine's security is Europe's safety. The list of guarantors should absolutely be limited to Europe because it should be limited to guarantors that will actually be compelled to "guarant". The most important task is to recognize that the USA won't help. Including the USA means no guarantee at all.

Ukraine needs no security guarantees. It needs weapons and a NATO membership or European armies in Ukraine. But not after a delusional peace deal that will never be realized.
There is no point in a peace deal. A deal would effectively reward the aggressor. Other would-be aggressors would take note and act accordingly.
With the current inhabitant of the WH and his bunch of cronies security guarantees are not a given. It would perhaps be wiser to proceed without the US at this time. Having to rely on a US President who is as we all know, a long time Russian asset would be unwise.
