Bulls*t. If the war ends with Russia holding the occupied territories they will never be returned. Never. They have to be liberated. What’s more if this happens, 100% Russians will attack again in a few years.

I guess the plan is not to give up and until 10-15 years Russia is totally broke and probably has disintegrated. As you say there is not hope to get them back otherwise. I believe the plan is try to hold, destroy Russian infra to damage Russian war machine (refineries) to make life easier in Ukraine

I hope EU stands w Ukraine. Russia is failing economically & militarily, & it will lose if we can hold on & keep the pressure on.

Just, be careful with West's promises about a peaceful resolution to the problem. We, in Greece & Cyprus, have been waiting for 50 years for a similar "peaceful resolution"...

Unless Putin and his siloviki are thrown out of power, there's no way that Russia can heal from its irrationality and therefore they will still try to take other territories.

In 10 to 15 years your 3yo kids will believe they are muscovites...
