The “law” that the disgusting governor of Florida signed that instructs people to be arrested if they are not US Citizens was blocked by a judge. So, apparently the arrest should never have happened. I hope the family sues everyone involved, including DeSantis.

If they arrest you and hold you for days to check whether you're a citizen/green card holder, as they did with this guy, it applies to everyone.

Yeah, I don’t think it matters, they are grabbing whoever they think is illegal. They are not following the judges orders in this case. He can’t due process and was actually arrested. The so-called gang members didn’t even get that.
I don’t believe so. DeSantis signed SB 4-C that makes it a misdemeanor for undocumented immigrants over 18 to “knowingly” enter Florida “after entering the US by eluding or avoiding examination or inspection by immigration officers.”
