In the 80s, i was denied a dx 3 times. I laughed at a joke I played ball with some people I had ADHD It is infuriating to me that it hasn't gotten better This is why i fully support self dx.

Of course, can't wait around for the lazy, uninterested system to bring the hoops for you to jump through. The autistic women I know self diagnosed and are, in their different ways, undoubtedly autistic. Once the explanation was there they saw themselves.
