How does that work? Especially in families and areas where the good ones are in the minority or about even I’ve seen this play out and DONE this myself. It doesn’t work because that’s not an effective way to change people’s minds. They can easily find supporters and an echo chamber to validate them
And if anything, it seems like it drives them further into racism and right wing insanity. That’s why I’m asking a lot of people their ideas. I tried a bunch of things that didn’t work and I’m not sure what to do next
If it doesn't work, you either keep fighting them, or you cut them off and walk away. You certainly don't keep hanging out with them and refusing to confront them. It's called a sacrifice because it sucks, but on the list of sacrifices, not having dinner with Nazis isn't a lot to ask.
