I wonder if they consider you *their* tenant...
I wonder if they consider you *their* tenant...
A fixer upper.
Wow ! They have no problem finding wood to build their home ! 😂
I would love to know how these critters managed to get their brains wired so they could be experts at this.
What a massive amount of work! Quite an achievement
Where are their little safety vest, hardhats, and yellow iron at? Good work otherwise!
This was peaceful and it made me smile. Thank you for sharing.
I was recently in Yellow Springs, OH and walked a trail in Glen Helen that included an enormous dam built by the locals (beavers) and it was quite impressive. They live up to their reputation!
i love them. the documentary i watched when the dad came home and the babies screeched in excitement. the little orphan mice and others that were allowed to live with them at the edges of the house the beaver had built. i cried.
Where can I find that documentary?
it was a while back and i don't remember unfortunately. maybe google it?
Thanks. I should have googled before asking. Have a good day❤️
no worries!
It’s a Nature documentary called “Leave it to the Beavers”
ha!😀
I’m a Nature junkie!
i live in it after spending years in Boston and nyc
I’m guessing you found it?
saw it a while ago and fell in love with beavers
Yes, thank you!
You can stream it on the PBS app for free.
Thank you!
Check PBS.
Thanks! Looks like PBS has a couple.
Where? In general!
Just helping Mother Nature take of all the critters in the environment. They create places for other critters to live as they live their own lives.
Impressive work crew you've got there.
Busy as a beaver...😉
Busy, aren’t they?
Wonderful ❤️.
Yay! We need them soooo much! Absolutely a keystone species and crucial to mitigating climate change (check out Walter Jehne's work) I look forward to becoming "beaver deceiver certified" in a few years and helping them expand their territory without all the humans getting riled up.
So cute
Dam!
Nature is amazing.❤️
But where are their little construction hats .. And visibility vests? Don’t they know it’s required by law?
Wonderful. Looks like he will be busy for a while
Amazing
I’m impressed they toil away with you right there.
Beaver are such great engineer. I'm always facinated by their abilty to restore eco- systems
Beavering away!
Wow!!! Making sure everything is in the right place!!!💕💕💕
My parents had a small cottage on a lake with a beaver … My dad had to cut down some major branches & decided to prep a bonfire with them for the next day & invite friends... It would’ve been the best bonfire ever! Except… we woke up in the morning, and the beavers had taken all of it! 😂
The wildlife is always watching you, never forget that
I would love to live in those area. But , it’s better not to invade their territory . Respect and admire the wildlife🕊️💕🕊️💕🕊️
Respect we did. They had their own island a ways away so were fine… also, if you’ve never been to Canada, cottages up north are very remote and there is a lot of land around… at least where we were and beavers are par the course here… hence why it’s our national animal!
🤣🤣🤣
💖💖💖👍👍
The clean-up crew!
Lucky you! I've heard of beavers, seen videos, but never seen it in person. I'm stinkin jealous of the view.
nice worksite! now pan over to the Lodge as I hear it is a poplar place
Awesome creatures. 😃
Your little tenants? Maybe you are THEIR little tenant. 😉
Damn, running water? Time to get to work folks!
In 🇨🇦, those "tenants" legally own that land, if they occupied, improved, and maintained said land for 7 years or more, and no complaints have been registered. Their "tenant" status would "land owners", just saying 😅 ❤️🇨🇦
😀😂😆 🤣 No. The occupation must be not only open and notorious, but must run counter to the interests of the landholder and that owner must have not given notice. Visiting the site and documenting it seems to invalidate that last portion of the standard.
Shock of my life was seeing a tree that a beaver had cut down and realizing there was a beaver under it. Felling trees is dangerous.
How big does it need to get? Wow!
Actually you're on their property.
That is some body of water!!
lucky!
Amazing animal to be able to drag all those heavy logs to pile them up. 💪
That's some serious dam work. They aren't messing around.
❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️😍😍😍😍😍
CUTeeeee
I love this with all my heart. Thanks
Dam Beavers! (Someone had to say it!)
I’ll be dammed!!!!
Where is this? I've been following the beaver reintroductions they're doing out west. It's amazing what just letting these guys do their thing does for fire resilience, drought resistance, restoration of the water table, and remediation of streams that have eroded down below their floodplains.
Engineering marvels!
Indeed!!!
You are so lucky to be able to see this up close and personal. 💚
Beautiful creatures who, despite having gone to Uni, know exactly what to do. Experience passed down by generations, just like people used to, before they thought remembering, not necessarily understanding, written words was all they needed.
..not having gone to Uni.....🤦♀️
bsky.app/profile/abdo...
Who feels this is an AI trick?
They're busy as .... you know.
Inspection duty. All good!!
The little feet pats. 💕❤️
The are hardworking and enjoyable to watch best engineers ever ❤️
So cool, I saw some live dam building on a survey once, was surprised at how big beavers really are.
They are quite the engineers! Those dams they build are solid.
Amazing animals.
I could argue that you are their tenants LOL!!
Umm, they're the landlords now.
God bless you for allowing Beaver's to actually do their very important work! They know far better than humans, how to build successful dams. If we had left more beaver dams in place, instead of trying to manufacture our own desires, the land, soil, forests, and so on, would be much better for it!
Now that's a dam!!
and humans complain about vacuuming...
I love this (but do not use the hashtag Beaver Cam) 🤓
Ummm....you're the tenant the beavers are the Landlords 😉
we found Kevin Dunn formerly from WWE #buckybeaver #jimcornette #fixyourteethbucky
They are incredible engineers!
Ok but where did you get this content from
Pretty sure you’re their tenant.
Yap!!!
Kinda what I was thinking😁
How fortunate you are to have a beaver pond😎
Nature's engineers
You lucky one...
So peaceful. I could watch them all day...
So amazing to me they have perfect placement for promoting life and ecological health. Squirrels too they are nature’s gardeners
I think your hippos might be sick
Great video!!! They look really busy!
For the love of God don't let Post10 see this video
Lessons in how to build a better ballroom!
We need a lake here mommy says to daddy.
Best damn dam builders! Love the beavers!
My dad lived in the country on a series of ponds. He planted apple trees that the beavers cut down when they got so big. They out maneuvered him at every turn. He learned to enjoy them!
Hopefully they have the proper dam permit. 😂
I think you are the tenant.
Love those beaver dams! A feat of ingenuity, for sure.
They’re doing an excellent job. 10/10.
We have some lovely neighbors too! Love the beavers coming back
Beavers - the animal that curses the most. Dam! Dam!! DAM!!! Dam!! ...
Hey, nice beaver
Thank you. I just ….
There are at least a few books about the benefits beavers bring to an ecosystem. They are good tenants to have.
They give a damn for sure.
Id be so happy to have beaver neighbors.
Beavers are better at construction than many construction workers/companies.
They used to teach in college that a unique characteristic of human intelligence was the ability to make tools. Later, it was discovered that animals, including beavers, also use tools.
omg
My husband worked in a tiny town in NE Washington for awhile. He’d be leaving for work and it was like Beaver had been waiting for him, to waddle husband to his truck.
Dam, they're good 😊
Saw one on the road today in Cleveland, crossing the road at 3:30 AM and strangely I feel the same on on the same road around midnight 3 says ago. But headed in the opposite direction.
I know how large beavers are… they look tiny compared to the epic size of that dam! Fantastic! 🤎
Very cool. Thanks for sharing, I’ve never seen them in the wild
All hail the mighty BEAVER!!! 🇨🇦
you're the tenant. :)
Beavers are the engineering master builders and architects of the natural world. ♥️
How much are you paying them. Do they have sick days, personal time off because that looks like back breaking work
Beavers ants and honey bees are great workers.
The best water conservationists in the world. Canada's proud National rodent.
Impressive!
So cool!
Dam glad to hav found you
Is there a Beaver Flag on top of that pole?
Pyrophytic plants like Eucalyptus, Banksia, Lodgepole pine and Giant Redwood, benefit from occasional fires clearing an area allowing new plants to grow. In some locations the near elimination of beavers has prevented natural methods of preventing wildfires from spreading. youtu.be/poOISKZFG9s
These little guy are so impressive. I was unknowingly standing on a beaver home once saying to myself, How the hell did all these trees get here seeming so intentionally 😂😂 like you’d think these little dudes turn into giant macho werebeavers at night and throw trees around for fun.
🤣🤣🤣
Wow, what a nice big pond they’ve made for themselves!
How wonderful to have a beaver pond near you! Fascinating animals!
❤️
❤️
🥰
Mighty incisors
That is one FAT beaver. Love them. Kids from the Bronx I taught did not know what beavers were so I taught them all the North American animals.
Now if only we could train beavers to make furniture. Can you imagine how much people would pay for a futon made by a beaver? Could pay for a lot of conservation.
I was watching a nature program on the BBC in Ireland and they returned beavers back into nature in England as it showed how they have returned the area back to the way it should be. The dam they built showed in an aerial photo the muddy water in the dam but after it is was clear as it should be.
I wish I had beavers! (And property)
They’re adorable!
A keystone animal
How many are there? Beaver fur warm as fuck.
Building the way to wetlands that are the water filters of the earth.
GOOD! Put 'em to work by golly! 😝
Beavers gonna beave
🤣🤣🤣
Excellent job, guys!
You should let them go home.
Awesome💕
Big beev
Cool that they’re okay with you being so close. Also cool that you’re not destroying what they’ve worked so hard to achieve. My FIL destroys the damns the 🦫🦫🦫🦫 build on his property. It makes me sad. I wish there was a happy medium.
KIL FIL
Beavers work hard building & ensuring their homes are safe, bring home food and store some for the future. Plus teach little beavers life skills on how to avoid predators.
Couldn’t ask for better labor.
Oh goodness.
DAMM RIGHT!
Amazing, aren’t they.
Damn, nice dam.
The phrase "busy as a beaver" is so correct.
Beavers are nature's engineers with remarkable ability to shape and improve habitat. Bravo!
The sound of the water is sooo soothing.
Winter is Coming, Jon Snow.
Ahhh, THE KEYSTONE SPECIES !
Bring back the beavers!
Such industrious little buggers

Wow they have been very busy! Wonderful aren’t they!
I was a beaver 🦫, before this life now. My buck teeth, told me so!🦷
Damn it!
They are such ingenious creatures...thanks for sharing this piece of heaven with us. #Wildlife
We have them here on our property. That’s why we pay flood insurance in the suburbs. True story.
Lovely! I grew up on a property with a 5 acre beaver pond. I spent so many days paddling the canoe around chasing bluegill or exploring. Even discovered a mini-hydro that had sunk. Have to say I'm a wee jealous. Enjoy.
Yup, continuous upgrades to the property...
Thanks for being kind to wildlife- coexistence 🩷
Oh dam! And hey, nice beaver!
Apologies for posting this here but Sudan needs you. Please read and help if u can bsky.app/profile/thom...
Yay 🦫 beavers!!!
This reminds me of when my husband work for a small town in Massachusetts. These guys kept them busy. Smart critters!! 🤣🤣🤣
So cool!!!
Just missing teeny tiny safety vests. 🦺
My husband had to battle against a beaver on our old property. The beaver was convinced that our seasonal creek needed to be a pond.
No offense but the beaver was probably right.
He had his own pond. That property is in Texas, so I'm sure the beaver has fulfilled his mission and the land has returned to the snakes.
It's your property. You do the work. Wow.
Cool industrious little critters. And great swimmers too!
Engineering at work. Beaver our environment BFF!
There is a little town in Vermont that depends on a beaver damn to keep the level of a pond up and usable for boating.
Do beavers know to build dams where they will be beneficial, or is it random, like how dogs will dig holes in the yard wherever they darn well please?
Nice
Beautiful
This is the problem with humans. We're the tenants.
I think you need to mount the flag of the Beaver Republic on that tall vertical branch.
If you live in Oregon, you can just put the State flag up. It's the only 2-sided flag in the country.
Excellent work.
Nature's engineers.
Love these little hydraulic engineers! 🦫
Little? I saw one of these guys in #CVNP. It was so big I thought it was a baby bear cub, until I saw its tail.
They are helping in this rapidly changing climate, a neighbour s house caught fire in my remote area, the only water available was a creek near my house that had a dam which kept the water level up,without it the home would have burned to the ground
Are they bring sticks to the pile or taking sticks from the pile? So cute!
Busy busy busy
To think they were almost extinct to become top hats
Look more like architects and builders
Wow! You were able to get close!
How many do you have there? I bet you see babies in the spring.
I have seen some videos of beavers in rescue homes and sanctuaries and they are so freaking comical .. it just shows you how innate their building behavior is that they tear up somebody's house just trying to find anything a rug or chair or anything to build dams lol
they are in construction. Probably got Mafia connections...lot of contractors are in bed with the Mob. If you see them taking a break, eating some pizza or Penne all'Arrabbiata...you will know...
They're busy as otters. No, that doesn't quite sound right. I'll work on it.
I'll never forgot how the little tenants on the pond next to my property flooded my property to the tune of thousands. They are cute though.
