Not seeing a ton of pictures from this protest apart from LA. This is the problem Americans are not willing to sacrifice play time to move mountains. Unless they get with the program and pressure is applied consistently nothing happens. There should be protests and boycotts 24/7.
June 14th was incredible. We need more people, not less. Yesterday was a holiday and most people had plans already. Next one organized by 50501 and Indivisable is on July 17th. With all due respect, people are at work during the week. Pick a Sunday in August. 10-3 Bring lunch, take breaks.
We need to stop with guilt tripping people for spending time with our families on a holiday. For keeping our traditions and gathering together. Thats the whole reason for protesting in the first place-to be able to experience joy w our families. Pick another day to protest. There's 364 of them.
Not sure of any guilt tripping. The size of the No Kings 2.0 was substantially smaller bc people did spend time with families. We need to plan the next one. August on a Sunday ok with you? Any suggestions? VOTE THEM OUT against Republicans. White t-shirts with ICE on back. I Care Enough!
People were shaming others for not protesting on the 4th of July. Thats what I meant by guilt trip. For some families, its the only time of year where everyone is able to get together. This shaming is counterproductive.
