As a veteran of the active Army during wartime and also of the New York State national guard, I am appalled and embarrassed that this is how our men and women in uniform are being used

It’s cause Elon and DOGE fired so many US Park Service employees who typically maintain the national sites and monuments in DC. Hey! …leaves aren’t gonna rake themselves… trash cans aren’t gonna empty themselves!!! (Guess there’s not enough “crime” in DC to keep the NG busy… 😏)
