This is very heartening. However, since it appears to prove that Trump & his admin are incredibly unpopular, it makes the likelihood of him interfering with, or even cancelling the midterms all the more likely.

If Trump starts to see that even gerrymandered districts aren’t a sure thing, he’ll just shut down elections altogether. Unlike other countries' constitutions, ours does not provide a provision to not have elections due to crisis. And even if so, the term of the president and vice-president will end upon the 20th of January.
