I guess that’s not so surprising given that in 1970’s a lot of our rivers were very nutrient rich. I did quite a bit of angling back then & the oxygen levels & water quality improved dramatically for 30 years, only to go backwards again in the last 10-15 years. Be interesting to see dataset 2015-25.
