I expect it's gone on BirdTrack, hidden as sensitive. Appeared on the Borders WhatsApp group. Egrets are the new Goosanders as far as a section of the salmon-fishing fraternity are concerned.
Grief! They're worse than [non-avian] dinosaurs! I've never seen a Little Egret catch anything larger than a Stickleback.
All salmon begin smaller than stickleback! I overheard a group of Tweed fishermen moaning about predators - from Kingfishers through to dolphin. 'Something needs to be done'! But not, apparently, about climate and overfishing, although a more enlightened generation is beginning to appear.
