That has value, but people in general do respond to being publicly shamed and deplatformed, even when they don't respond to reasoned education.

Thing is, they don't know they've been shamed if they're blocked. Shame them, but don't block them. Let them see they're idiots. Maybe just mute them if you're going to avoid them. Then, they still see your disapproval but can't get on your nerves anymore. If they harass you after that, block them.

Nope. I got my account suspended twice. They will take any anti Trump shit you post and say it's inciting hate or violence or whatever. They don't care at all about our 'disapproval.' 🤪
