They feel that way because the first 2 are genetic and they know on some level at least one side of the family is representing. My dad's aunt was a nun, my aunt was a Bulldyke, and my sister is a divorced lesbian w a kid All three are the same gene makeup, just different societies.
I suspect my mom is. She's let it slip once or twice when the gender topic came up, how she had wished she was a boy when she was younger. Not something I've seen with cis folks TBH.
Most girls of our gen wanted to be a boy at some point bc it meant being allowed to do the fun stuff. But wanting to be treated like the boys/feeling like you are in the wrong body are different things. You are probably right, which means the resentment about your freedom is deep/justified.
Imagine being stuck in your birth body and going through the motions for decades and then your kid just suddenly decides Nope, not for me, I want to be happy. All your life choices look like shit and you are miserable for no reason.
Yeah. I can kinda see that. And living with a cis hetro guy makes it even more complicated.
Who on some level probably knows.
The more I learn in general, the more it seems to be just a case of (I wasn't allowed to do this so neither should you be allowed.)
