Look, all I’m saying is if a nurse doesn’t know the difference between gender and sex, she likely shouldn’t be nursing anyone anywhere anyway.

I remember going for my son’s first appointment after he was born. Ex went with and was filling out the paperwork. Got to the “sex” section and he decided to write “occasionally.” Nurse was not amused.
One of my pet peeves. There is nothing wrong with the word sex. It should be used any time the identity of the genetic sex (one Y and one X, or two X chromosomes) are at issue. Formerly, gender was only heard in the context of language. So, it is jarring to hear as the replacement for the word sex.
I don't know that many smart nurses, I know less smart physicians. I have worked in healthcare for 15 years.
Half the doctors I’ve worked with have been intelligent, caring individuals. The other half are egotistical morons.
It's scary as hell how bad some of them are.
I’ve known many nurses. A significant portion are anti-science. Some are anti-vaccine, including one ARNP I know, which I’m sure is because she watches Fox News. It is really sad what the christofascists have done to America.
I had a flu shot from a nursing student who asked if I could be pregnant. I said absolutely not. She said, “so you had a vasectomy?” 😂 ✂️
Learning moment. You say, "You tell me what a vasectomy is and I'll tell you if I've had one".
I mean, we all have to learn!
I’d’ve said yes…😬
I think the operative word there is student.
