Isak to LFC still has another chapter to be written. I think this could easily go to deadline day. Newcastle still have time to find a replacement, but not appearing desperate in public help them. Drop the report you are keeping Isak and you maintain an appearance of want, not need

That being said, I do see a scenario where they keep him out of need and pride. They were very publicly told they aren't big enough, European football or not. That has to hurt. You'd also need 2-3 signings to make up for the loss and improve elsewhere. They'd need to work fast.
