Spare a thought for Russell Findlay today, who has wrenched the party of Ruth Davidson so far to the reactionary right that not just Jamie Greene but Jeremy Balfour felt unable to remain, and today Graham Simpson says it's still not reactionary enough and he's off to Reform. 3 MSPs down in 4 months.

You can't out Farage...Farage. Yet that seems to be the tactic. Worrying times

Rats, sinking ship.. & all that. That said Simpson has alway been that way inclined, remember his ‘no go zones’ comments? I’m surprised Jeremy being disabled was willing to stay in a Disabilty hating (maybe too strong a word) UK Party for so long. Now imagine Greene had become party leader in ‘20..

I knew him personally when he was a journalist. Seemed like a decent guy and did some good work exposing criminals in Scotland. Shame he became such a bigot.

Can't help wondering if it's more about the job - i.e. the prospects of keeping it - for him and some others. Contemptible if so. Or even more contemptible.

Greene, Balfour and Simpson had no personal vote as list MSPs. When list MSPs resign the whip they should also by default resign the regional seat. In central, Reform didn’t even have a candidate in 2021.
