98% of the World's countries are independent. I want to live in one too. One that votes for it's own Government (however good or bad they are). Currently I don't have that. I get labelled a nationalist looney for these views.

The UK is an independent country! By exactly the same standard as you are judging all the others. If independence makes us poorer, harming people’s lives, why on earth would you want that?

A nation(s) within a country is moronic though. I don't want to be part of the UK / Britain, you need to understand that. It stands for all the things I despise. The answer is, I'd rather be poorer and in an independent country that gets whatever government it voted for, than what we have now.
