You must not live there. He was one that told the Republicans spewing "Thoughts and Prayers" to "f*** off, this happened in a church". That's not being part of the problem moron, it's part of the solution.

I live in Minneapolis
My support or lack of support for Frey is not based on his position regarding gun control. As a mayor he has very little influence on larger gun control policies. I 100% support his take yesterday. That said Frey is NOT a new breed of democrat many are looking for.
Definitely. Same here. At least he and Walz, Governor share a common goal.
lived here long enough to know that he is anti-labor, anti-police reform, a suck up to corporate donors, his solution for the homeless problem is to force them out rather than help...with that speech he shows he's got a good speechwriter. He's a stopped clock, that's all.
Finally, some good examples to illuminate an opinion! Thank you, the opinion of locals is usually right on point. He saw the heartless carnage and it affected him as a parent and as their political leader.
You advocate for church & school shootings. Seems you're the stopped clock. What the FVCK are you doing to resolve those issues? Odd you think $$ aren't needed to resolve some issues. I've worked w/homeless since the '80's. This will always be an issue. Anti-Floyd as well? Anti-labor? How?
Me pointing out how Frey is not great = me advocating for church and school shootings? Frey gave a good speech, I'll give him that. But his actions as mayor over the past 8 years have caused his constituents to have no confidence in him.
You can be a part of the solution, or attack. By attacking someone trying to end gun violence, you are advocating for those actions to continue. Not all of his constituents feel that way. A large number have complete confidence in him. You only speak for yourself.
Are you saying that Frey is the only politician trying to end gun violence? Supporting any other solution means I'm pro gun violence?
My opinion of Frey is not based on gun control issue. All candidates for mayor support gun control
He's the only politician trying to end gun violence. House and Senate Republicans are hugging their guns and already trying to block any Democratic bills proposed Bob. Are you claiming anyone else is doing anything other than blocking? I guess the answer is he's one of the very few doing ANYTHING
