Alan Moore knows the score.
Alan Moore knows the score.
Knowing the song but not the esteemed Mr Moore's work, I told people with great confidence that he read out the football scores for *way* too long. Considering Def Con One I don't think I could be more ashamed.
I genuinely thought the same thing for a good few years!
That makes me feel conaoderably better. Now please also tell me you didn't realise Not Now James, We're Busy was about James Brown until a friend said it in passing.
Can’t confess to that one I’m afraid. To be fair the only reason I knew who James Brown was because I saw him in Rocky IV.
I knew him well and the whole arrest thing, but somehow still didn't put the two together. My mate has never let me live that one down. Which is fair.
Into the. Gravy.
Charlton Heston put his vest on
Stump!
I borrowed my mate's Walkman to go on holiday in 1989 and I broke it on the way to the ferry in Hull. And that was the last song it ever played. Digless I was.
Used to see Alan Moore in Northampton town centre when I was a kid... a few people I know have had small parts in his recent films...
Popcorn will eat itself?
That voice - tho still a Mike Moorcock derivative. Once asked for my favourite authors - I declared I love Moorcock and Dick Who doesn't?
