The overconsumption is frustrating to me too. I think the root of the problem is greed of record executives/streaming service execs — artists are not being paid fairly for their work. While I hate to see overconsumption, I also see that selling physical albums & merch is how musicians make money

Yes! You are both right—but I think we also have to look at the role of the consumer in all of this too. If people didn’t buy it, they wouldn’t make it. (They’d find another way to make money).

That's true, you're very right!! I wish there were more high quality and stylish merch options. I would love to support my fav artists by buying a t-shirt, but so many shirts look boring & cheap. I would pay top dollar for ethically made, high quality merch clothing with creative designs

OMG Merch is a WHOLE other beast... I was thrilled that Hayley was having her fans design the merch for EDAAVP.
