If that’s true then why are there so many protesters showing up at Republican town halls?
I think people care, but many live hundreds or thousands of miles away. Other than "protest", "donate", "spread the word?" not sure what else the average person can do.
It's a fucking terrifying time. He's definitely capitalizing on apathy even though his actions are every bit shock and awe.

JFC, Reed. People care. You write an entire article with no practical advice for dealing with these occupations when they do reach our communities other than to "put the Constitution on our backs and march ahead." Nothing here is new or inspiring -- just platitudes from high on your mountain top.

I'm older than you are. I remember the unrest of the 1960s. I know how these things take time to purge. Younger people don't. You still haven't given any practical advice on how to deal with these times. 1/2
I've been a steady listener to your podcast and it's taught me a lot, but I see you drifting a little too far from regular people because this is the business you're in. I think you assume people understand more than they do. Be clear, don't make assumptions, and have practical advice.
