Socialism: the central government owns the means of production and centrally decides what gets produced, who does the producing and who gets the benefits of that production.The goal - everybody is equal. Of course, the people with central power are more equal than everybody else.
Democratic Socialism: tax the hell out of everyone, including a total theft of all wealth held by those evil billionaires (whom all of us “little people” R insanely jealous of), grow the central govt big enough to give out as much free stuff as possible (& then some). Kill innovation by default.
It doesn’t take a super genius to see where all of this leads. The only way to force freedom seeking humans to comply to the whims of flawed central planners (and central power addicts) is tyrannical oppression - lest there be revolution.
