Oh my gosh sounds like a long day. Did your mom have an MRI with contrast? I’ve had two spine surgeries, L5-S1, one minor one major. Hope she’s ok. Does her pain go down her legs at all? Sounds like maybe a herniated disc. Do hope you get the best news possible.
I don't know if it was an MRI or not. They're checking my mom's bone density to see if a treatment is appropriate. Unfortunately, in addition to many disc issues, my mom has developed scoliosis as an adult. She's been dealing with this particular pain for over a decade. It's gotten hard to move.
Oh my gosh Michelle, I’m so sorry. Chronic pain is terrible. Always having to deal with it one way or another. Hope your Mom will do as well as possible.
We're running out of options. She's tried experimental stuff already. She was hoping for a spinal cord stimulator implant. She's stuck sitting a lot and is frustrated.
Gosh that’s rough. I don’t have scoliosis but I know far as the disc issues, sitting a lot makes the pain increase. She’s dealing with so much ☹️.
