I’m not of the mind that the Epstein situation will bring down Trump’s presidency, but mixed with the intolerable cruelty and how he and his fellow fascists will react to feeling cornered and growing more violent and lawless could all set off a chain of events that could change things considerably.

I think Trump is attacking the wrong ppl b/c his own VP & Murdoch & a few others are the ones keeping Epstein story going. They want him gone.

I don't think it will end him outright, but it will severely curtail his ability to raise a mob & point them in whatever direction he likes. That alone changes things considerably.
Doubt that. It will, however, change the way that mob is looked at by some portion of "independents" who just can't seem to recognize what MAGA is. And that could matter.
Think you might be underestimating how big a deal child trafficking & abuse is to a large segment of MAGA. Most of the rest of the ultra-thuggish types will probably join ICE. Who's left to form a mob anyone would actually fear? I do agree about perception among 'independents'.
I'm definitely underestimating that. On purpose. MAGA has shown me nothing more faithfully than that they have no actual principles at all besides white supremacy and bloodlust. They'll pretend to care about anything that can get them some torture porn.
Totally get that & no doubt much of MAGA has earned it. I think what we'll see is every crisis leads to a splintering off of some percentage of followers, the biggest loss coming from Epstein. Everyone remaining after each will have passed loyalty test & increasingly consist of cohort you describe.
