This. As much as I want the Democrats to win it might be good to let the Republicans have this because they’ll be to blame when all this takes effect. They will be no one else to blame but them since they have control of all 3 branches.

That's the question. If dems take the fall, republicans will likely take 2028, if that happens. But i also shudder to think what republicans will do if they win, particularly if 2028 doesn't have an election. So it may be worth fighting for, just in case, but start messaging heavy around 2027

Given the sheer number of people the GOP will try to legislate out of existence, I don't think it's a good idea to throw 2026 on the assumption that the American people will just run back to the fascists in 2028 if they're not the incumbents.

The problem is that in 2027, the worst parts of the big ugly bill come into play. This was timed on purpose so that if dems are in charge, they will take the blame and pay for it in 2028. That's why they have to get ahead of this and control the messaging in 2027 so trump is blamed instead

Yeah I'm really on the fence about this. They definitely have a plan this time. I'm guessing they have a plan for if the dems win AND if they don't. I suspect if they don't win, they'll steamroll through even more heinous legislation, while they can. We need a blue project 2025 and fast.
