In our new format up front I think Josh Zirkzee could be crucial. He has real 'Berbatov-like' quality. I really like him and I feel he could be a key player this season. What are your thoughts, fellow Reds?

I hope he gets more game time, but imagine will see him more in a substituted role. There's definitely quality there and I'm glad he's an option again.

His passing and positivity on the ball was very good, such a shame he got that injury when he did last season. Mbeumo and Sesko would do well with him I reckon

There is a quality player in there and he offers something different. Not sure he is physically up to the PL but he adds something to the squad. Deserves more time to prove himself.

At best he's an ole type sub but he doesn't score goals, so basically he hardly ever plays if the new front 3 are fit, both Mount and Amad will be ahead of him also so I just don't see him getting game time with no Europe

And that in itself is a big pressure for him Trev, I hope he's happy enough to be a squad player, I like him, I like Rasmus as a guy also, but he has to go for his own good, he has to play football regularly

I agree with you. His touch and close control for such a big man is sublime. I can see the berbatov comparisons in that alone. With Cunha, Mbeumo and also Mount busy around and behind him, we could be about to see the emergence of a proper player

We need to see goals from him along with the others, is my concern with him but giving him time to gel with the new frontline.

I think you're right. He's a very intelligent player who has the ability to link up play. He's also very calm and surprisingly agile and good in congested areas of the pitch.

The fact that he didn't cave in after all the abuse he received from our own home fans says a lot about the lad. I really rate him.
