. Trump became obsessed with windmills when the Aberdeen Offshore Wind Farm was proposed near his Trump International Golf Links in Scotland. He is further irritated because despite enormous effort, he was unable to stop the project which was completed in 2018. As usual, with Trump, it's personal.
