Well, considering that "wolf pack" is used to designate a group of submarines, i guess it's legitimate to see (sea ?) a fishy werewolf there. Or maybe my brain just need to stop seeking jokes everywhere. 'love the light effects here !

Well, more exactly (and after a quick checking) it designate especifically a mass-attack tactic with u-boat or submarines during WW2, and i think i may misunderstood it was still used to name a group of submarines... I guess it would be still the case if the tactic was still used, but there.
