Anyone else grow up with WWII parents who is mortified as fuck at this moment in history? Can I get a hell yeah? This shit is mortifying.

Hell yeah....
Hell yes!!!
Hell yeah. My dad was WW2 Navy
I grew up in the midst of it. I know what it is to be huddled in a dark basement, gas mask on my face,my Babsi & Mammi praying & crying, my dad holding me while bombs whistled & crashed. Only if the world would listen
It’s no coincidence that this is happening just after 90%+ of them are gone.
My father ended many Nazis in North Africa, but this time it's even more frightening because "the call is coming from inside the house," as the line goes.
👍Yes. My dad was a naval fighter pilot. My mom is 91, and BOY IS SHE PISSED!
Hell yeah! My ‘97 y/o is ‘threatening’ to live to 100 just so she can vote in ‘28. Seriously she is very worried. Her gen was born to the GD, survived it to ration, collect scrap, bury loved ones, local heroes and intern neighbors. Rebuilt, went to the moon, won civil rights. NEVER saw this coming.
Sadly,my parents chose The Felon just because he's "Republican". Many family members followed. My family has been fighting in every war had. They're so lost
I am absolutely mortified And Deeply, profoundly angry.
My father served in WWII and the Korean War and actually did another tour of duty years later in Korea. He would be disgusted as hell at what's happening now.
My papa served in the navy WWII. Went to officer school and joined the USAF, flew over Korea and VN. He was in SAC. Was involved in the early spy satellite and space programs and is soooooo rolling over in his urn atm.
My WWII parents are staunch trump supporters because of the of the fear he and the Fix propaganda network makes them afraid of cities, trans-people, brown-people, and immigrants. Actually, they’ve always been afraid of them since the 60s.
I'm so sorry.
Millions of early boomers are like that, I believe. Living out their last days in fear and dread. Sad.
Hell yeah 👍🏽
Hell yeah!!!🇨🇦
Hell yes. My dad was a tailgunner during the war and I'm glad he's not here to see this
Daddy was sunk at Pearl Harbor and survived, so I’m horrified at what’s happening as would be my dad.
🫶🏽
I was born in the last days of the war. My youth was steeped in it. Food and furniture rationing. Petrol rationing. No NHS. Poverty, collecting salvage, my mother making sure I saw all the footage from the Camps, which traumatised me. They’d be aghast at what America has complacently allowed.
HELL YA!
Hell yeah! I'm actually glad my parents -- both who served in the Royal Navy during WWII and lived through the depression -- are not around to see this shit show.
Grandparents, but Hell Yeah.
Grandparents. I promise you they are both rolling in their graves.
I saw it coming. I prepared for the worst and I got it. In the grand scale of things in a blink of an eye it will be over. Even quicker if he dies. The scary thought is what's next?
Hell yeah! My dad had books about the Holocaust that I read at a young age. I've always known the capability for cruelty hovers over "humanity." And I've always known fascism is a threat to us all.
