A few things. First, it's true that certain words or phrases are suppressed on social media platforms, whether for good or ill. But this also speaks to the general sense that "algorithms are magic," which is an attitude that I think AltNPS tries to encourage.
Maybe they are planning on tagging literal picnics and music festivals with a wink to get their followers all worked up.
Whether it's something like this, or their new obsession with Facebook check-ins, or their seemingly dead habit of posting random numbers, AltNPS seems to buy into the idea that social media algorithms are esoteric, mystical systems that can be tamed if you know how.

I've written before about how AltNPS claiming to be a covert organization of vulnerable insiders operating on Facebook is even more of a farce when you understand how unsecure Facebook is. But this is different: they're preying on people's (legit) paranoia and (justified) fear of these platforms.
