If the screenshots I've saved are any indication (and a couple of NPS staff who have contacted me), actual park rangers have no idea what AltNPS is doing. It's all just grist for the content mill.

On the flipside, if they are "official" then that implies they are claiming to be government employees. Which implies that the feed is a US government work product. Which means the content is public domain. Anyone can monetize it.
