I don’t remember who suggested micropayments to accessing paywalled content, but whoever it was is a genius, I want that now. I wanna pay to read stuff in @newyorker.com, but I don’t wanna subscribe as I never read the whole thing. I would also pay to get a shareable link
i was planning to build a plug and play solution for that many years ago but i realized that it's likely to go nowhere without the connections necessary to sell it to news corps...
