The voter ID thing and banning vote by mail also disenfranchise college students. They either need to mail their ballot back home or they need to change their ID to match their address at their university.

And at least where I went to school, you could not use a dorm as an address. So….. anyone living on campus is prevented from changing their ID.

Yep. Students at the university near me change dorm rooms every new school year and that might mean the building is different with a different address. I wouldn't want to have a string of address changes like that.

People always talk about it being for the poor and the elderly, which it is, but what they are doing is normalizing non-participation in politics for young people.
