Posting this to be held accountable by my peers. I believe with patience and dedication, I CAN beat Mega Man 5 on my Powkiddy v10 without the use of save scumming. I also acknowledge that Mega man 5 is considered one of the easier NES Mega Man titles but IMO it's still hard.

Bruh, I beat the first three Mega Man games when I was but a youth, and they were tough as nails. Today, at nearly three times the age I was then, I can't get close to beating any of them. You're doing great.

I gave it an earnest attempt after you talked about it on b2c. I have to turn in my laminated god gamer card to the proper authorities because I gave up after a few days.
James on discord said that the non-"super" ghouls n ghosts for MD/genesis is more fun because it doesn't have that floaty double jump and that seems to be true. I was playing the GBA version which is apparently the hardest/worst because it has a zoomed in view.
That double-jump is cursed! Also, playing Super Ghouls 'n Ghosts at the 240x160 GBA resolution is borderline masochistic. 😅 I'll have to check out the Genesis version; never played it back in the day. Shinobi III was my action platformer of choice on that system. Joe Musashi rules!!
