One of my science colleagues at UCLA flatly told me that Columbia should have just shut down the college and leave only the med school because the scientists aren’t the problem and they are being punished over the Gaza protests. He was so clear and certain.

well yeah, cuz medical research has never been politicized! it's not like they are canceling cancer trials and taking away vaccines because the internet told them mRNA is scary. it's just objective!
