Any action has that possibility. But voting for the greater evil doesn't make sense. So voting for the lesser evil or not bothering to vote seem like the only rational options.

I lived abroad for many years, and can afford to pack up anytime. Current plan is to keep working at least 3 more years, but I could afford to leave and retire now. Even if they trash SS completely. I have a sentimental attachment to America, but no real need for it.
