The supporters/crowds of all clubs definitely seem more emboldened to be bad sports of late 😞 The club itself has also had a horrendous track record with racism. It's why I stepped away from actively supporting them for several years. The club culture seems to be a lot better now.

I’m also glad that you’ve seen your club do the work to win your support back to it as well. The AFL hasnt been leading the way in a lot of ways and has a long way to go on inclusivity but this is a positive step

Yeah I think that’s fair enough too. Not a fan of the loud, vulgar, reactionary spectator myself - regardless of who they support. A bit of humorous good natured crowd banter is my cuppa tea otherwise I’m too interested in the game. And I never blame the umps.
